Omega has mastered extensive and professional ceramic application technologies, which have been employed for over a decade. Derived from the Greek word “keramos” (meaning pottery), ceramic is an inorganic non-metallic material produced through high-temperature firing. This material can be used to manufacture high-density watch components with special mechanical properties. Ceramic is one of the most favored materials among consumers when choosing watches, thanks to its striking and diverse colors as well as special properties. It is twice as light as stainless steel, featuring wear resistance, high scratch resistance, high biochemical inertness, hypoallergenicity, and non-magnetism.

Sapphire Glass

To better appreciate the exquisite details of the watch, Omega uses scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire glass. Before machining and finishing, sapphire glass is produced using the Verneuil process (also known as the flame fusion method). It involves melting raw materials with a hydrogen-oxygen flame, and then crystallizing the molten droplets to form a cylinder. With a Mohs hardness rating of 9 (on a scale of 1-10), the resulting sapphire glass is highly scratch-resistant and exceptionally hard, ensuring excellent visibility at all times.

WHITE DIAL
Inspired by the astronaut spacesuit and the iconic AlaskaProject l prototype from 1969, the white dial is topped withcontrasting black details and a glossy lacquer finish, aprocess that OMEGA first used on a moon watch on a’stepped” dial.

RED EMBELLISHMENTS
The red “Speedmaster” inscription and the red tip on thechronograph seconds hand stand out against the white dial.Inspired by the insulated cover of the Alaska Project lprototype model, and the red lines on the CommanderAstronaut spacesuit.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M features a rich variety of materials. Different models adopt different materials based on their design positioning and price range. Here are the common material types and their characteristics:

Case Materials
Stainless Steel: This is the most basic and common material in the series. Stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, is hard and not easily deformed, can provide stable protection for the watch, and is relatively affordable, making it suitable for daily wear.
Sedna 18K Gold: This is a rose gold alloy independently developed by Omega, composed of 18K gold, copper, and palladium. Sedna 18K gold presents a warm and charming rose gold tone, and has better oxidation resistance than traditional rose gold, which can maintain the brightness and stability of its color for a long time, enhancing the luxury and collection value of the watch.
Moonshine 18K Gold: Also an exclusive 18K gold material of Omega, it contains gold, silver, and a small amount of copper, presenting a soft champagne gold color, as 温润 and elegant as moonlight. This material has excellent chemical stability, is not easy to fade, and is commonly used in some high-end models.
Titanium: Titanium is lightweight yet strong, with excellent corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. It does not cause skin allergies when worn, making it very suitable for sports scenarios. The Seamaster Diver 300M watches made of titanium are lighter and more comfortable to wear.

Bezel Material
Ceramic: Most Seamaster Diver 300M watches use ceramic for their bezels. Ceramic has extremely high hardness and wear resistance, is not easy to scratch, and has high color saturation, as well as good resistance to high and low temperatures and chemical stability, which can maintain the beauty and functionality of the bezel for a long time. The scales on the bezel usually use enamel filling or PVD coating technology to ensure clear readability.

Dial Material
The dial material is usually matched with the case material, and may be made of metal materials (such as stainless steel, 18K gold) processed through sandblasting, brushing, and other techniques to present different textures. Some models may also use special materials such as enamel for the dial, increasing the artistry and uniqueness of the dial.

Strap Materials
Stainless Steel Strap: Matched with a stainless steel case, the links of the strap are exquisitely designed, using a deployment clasp or pin buckle, which is convenient and secure to wear. It also has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, suitable for daily use.
Rubber Strap: The rubber strap is soft, elastic, comfortable to wear, and has excellent water resistance and aging resistance, making it very suitable for water activities such as diving. The surface of the strap usually has anti-slip texture design to improve the stability of wearing.
Leather Strap: Some models are equipped with leather straps, such as alligator leather, cowhide, etc. Leather straps are soft in texture and more elegant in style, but they are not as water-resistant as rubber straps. They are more suitable for daily occasions other than diving, and daily maintenance is required to extend their service life.

After upgrading, the crown will not lose the sapphire. [Case back]: The upgraded case back screws are smooth and flat. The engraved font on the case back is relatively deep, and the font is the same as the original.
